Dear Jane:
While I was researching
for a case, I found your page and felt better while
reading it. I am a 28 year old attorney with 20
months of sobriety. I practice a very active program
of recovery in AA that has opened my mind into a new
way of life. I am seeking to develop a strong
spiritual connection with a "higher power' so that I
can learn how to listen to his will, trust it and be
joyful.
I'm going to give you an idea of what
goes in my head:
I am anxious about the future, I stress
over time running out (like if there is such a
thing). In those moments, fear freezes me, I give in
to its pull, and I stand still in worry and in
absolute disconnection from any form of love. When by
myself,
I seek people to distract me from the inner voice of
judgment, criticism and guilt. I obsess about things
that are not under my control, I procrastinate on a
daily basis and feel guilt while I do it, I seek
constant approval from other people and
I let that control my emotions. Hence the reason why
I am taking a break from relationships. :)
Apart from that, I'm a grateful, happy, healthy,
vivacious, kind and loving person.

Dear friend:
It is very good to hear from you this morning, as I am
centering myself and dealing with my own internal
"voices." Like you, I often feel stress and anxiety ...
but probably the internal judgment and condemnation are
the worst! What is interesting is that when I take these
feelings (which are usually strongest in the morning) into
a time of quiet, seeking the voice of spiritual guidance,
the sweet voice of love and understanding bubbles up and
replaces the harsh critics.
This didn't happen for me right away - for a long time I
would just try to sit with quiet and perhaps some
inspirational reading, and no thought-messages would come
... but a feeling of greater peace would remind me that
this practice was worthwhile. Looking back, I could notice
that it seemed to change my day and lessen the tensions
and unease.
I very much admire your active journey in AA. I myself was
in a twelve step program for eight years and it made a
huge difference in my life. The presence of God, or higher
power, became more immediate and personal through the
program, and this relationship is central to my journey.
As I reread your words,
it seems to me that you are in a good place in terms both
of your awareness of your internal struggles and your work
to find a place of peace, joy and light. As you seek, you
will certainly find. My feeling is that our unseen loving
companions are longing to be found and received by us, and
to listen is a simpler process than we think. It's like
fiddling with the radio dial and listening for a different
frequency. At first, when a loving thought comes to you,
you will think you're making it up.... You will be
convinced it's not real. But write it down anyway (if you
are inclined to write) and when you look back you will
feel the spiritual love in the words, and they will warm
your heart every time.
Please be gentle with yourself. It is not easy to be a
human being. That is why there is unseen spiritual
companionship for us. Perfectionism does no good
on this planet, so try to let that one go. Judgment as
well. Practice hearing Love's merciful voice.

messages and now you have given me determination that what
am determined in about starting a nursery school i should
continue with my plans no matter how small is the capital
i have.
Jane i always told my parents when am a kid that i never
recieved good life at school. but according to what i see
in bigger school i must start a nursery school in our
village to give childrens in village the life they miss
from town.
Always pray for me Jane and give me determination in what
am doing and i will keep you up to date. In every process
or step am doing. Now am trying to write the proposal of
the Nursery school but am not yet decided by the school
name.

Jane, It was of great chance to find your email.
Am so used of finding spiritual messages from internet,
but when I started surfing, of all the messages on
internet, I ended up opening yours. I really liked the
message. It was spiritual so educative with a lot of
meaning and good enough it contained your email. My sister
used to tell me that friendship is never planed. But I
have come to know the meaning in her message.
The name “Hope” indeed it sounds well, if we find no
school using similar name, I have to used it. “It is true
great Joy will accompany this work. Because true service
always brings joy.”

My website now has a copy of your photo with Joy and two
of your messages to me. I think you will find it very nice
and I know that readers will be interested in the progress
of your dreams. Remember that it is so important to
believe in the power of your own visions. We will not post
all of your messages, but I think that it will be
interesting to have the concrete updates on your progress
with the school as you develop them. In this way others
might become involved with your dream. We don't know where
this will lead. I have no idea who reads my pages ...
maybe only a few people, maybe more. But we can keep
trusting our loving God to work through you and your
faithful heart.

Here we are fine. How is the weather now. I wish you the
best in all your daily life. I feel so happy for your
usual reply Jane, you have spiritual love keep it up Jane.
I always pray to have a best friend out of chance. God is
Great.
Greeting to you from Joy and from my friends. in reference
to your letter, in my project am alone only that i get
advises where necessary from friends and relatives. It was
my plan to start a school. Regardless the location, the
demand of Child care centre and the love i have for them.
To me i have a medium stationery which is helping my
mother and the younger sister plus the help of my salary
in Uganda.
I prefer to start with three classes Baby, Top, and
Kindergaten for the start.
My wish is to start next year if God makes my dreams true.

I have mediated about your dream
for the school, and have asked my spirit companions for
words of encouragement for you.
This is the message I received:
We are here and we are grateful
for this miracle of expansion which has occurred in
communication across many miles and cultures. What you
need to remember is that those things we imagine with
strong faith and conviction will materialize. The force
of love is the greatest power within this universe.
Never doubt the immense power you unleash as you harness
love to help transform your world.
When you begin to doubt your
visions or your dreams please ask: “Did love inspire
this dream?” If your heart answers “Yes”, you may trust
that the full force of the energy that created this
universe will rally to your aid in making this vision
materialize.
How can you be sure of this? If
you had eyes to see you would understand that every part
of your world was once a dream: every creature, plant,
mountain and stream began as a vision of creative love.
The temporary darkness which obscures your faith in this
will also pass, like mist rising from a lake at dawn.
All good dreams earnestly pursued
in faith and love will bear fruit in their season. You
may give this message to Ron to hold in his heart like a
precious seed: a promise from the voice of Love.
